Pailla Hue

The beach is practically right in the backyard. Inside, there's plenty of tableware, amenities, and other things, and the tasteful decor makes it a lovely, comfortable spot to relax. The owner was friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

The outdoor shower didn't work, and the outdoor sink had no faucet. There was dirt beneath the patio furniture and on the porch, plus cobwebs in several spots and uncleaned windows. The bathroom and kitchen sink were very dirty, despite the water's high iron content. Our bedrooms flooded when the toilet tank malfunctioned. The place was very poorly maintained. Also, some photos shown are of the house next door, not Pailla Hue.

I'm traveling around Argentina, visiting beaches and coastal towns, and booked through Despegar. Then I got an email asking me to cancel because the minimum stay is 7 days. That would mean a penalty, even though the hotel should be the one to cancel and cover it. I haven't even arrived, and this is already a mess. Now I can't find a hotel for those dates because they don't know how to set up Despegar so people can't book for less than 7 days. I filed a complaint with Despegar asking them to cancel, because I'm not paying for your mistake, Mr. Vasallo. I also see you write your own reviews. They're appalling. Truly shameful.

The location is ideal, and the place has a special charm despite being simple. It's full of little touches and very well equipped. We had such a lovely time and will definitely return!
