The tree house restaurant is a memorable way to spend dinner. They say it’s the world’s smallest restaurant, with just one table. It’s expensive, but worth it for that one of a kind experience. The staff are kind, and the restaurant is unique. We had a massage in our room since there wasn’t a spa, which worked out fine. The hotel is a lovely place to unwind by the lake, with impeccable service and rooms that have fabulous views. It’s quieter than central Bariloche, though about 15 minutes away by taxi. The restaurant food didn’t quite live up to its prices. It seemed to aim for fine dining without quite reaching that level. The menu was limited, some items weren’t available, and there weren’t many vegetables. Still, the food at the tree house was part of an unforgettable evening.

Charming is well placed for nearby restaurants, the city center, and outdoor activities, all just minutes away. The hotel views are stunning, and we enjoyed both dinner and the daily breakfast at the restaurant. It was a perfect base for visiting Bariloche. We hope to come back soon, and I highly recommend Charming!

We got there right when they opened, which suited us as early risers and gave us time to enjoy the incredible view. It was such a lovely dinner, with beautifully prepared food and especially tasty, generously sized prawns. I also liked the thoughtful touches, like the binoculars for looking around and the good wine list. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive. A beautiful spot for a great meal and scenery.

We wish we’d stayed longer. Our room had a wonderful view, and there was a kitchenette if you wanted to cook, though the food was good. Plenty of restaurants were nearby too. We also had a private jacuzzi, dry spa, and steam bath.

The location is beautiful, with lovely lake views from the rooms, the jacuzzi, and the restaurant. You can walk down to the beach and follow the path. We loved Charming, especially the excellent restaurant and outstanding service. Alejandra at the front desk was terrific, and the family who own the hotel are lovely. Highly recommend this place.
