The best thing about Tupa Lodge is how peaceful it feels, with lovely grounds beside the river and a view west toward Paraguay. The cabins are rustic and clean, with what you need, and the staff were very kind. We liked the deck and two-level pool, and the restaurant’s local fish was delicious. They also accommodated dietary restrictions. When our flight was delayed on departure day, they let us stay four extra hours and keep using the facilities, which was very helpful. I’d happily return. Some negative reviews mention the final 300 to 400 meters of rough road, but that’s not unusual here, and driving slowly was fine. We used Uber and taxis without trouble. Less traffic also means less noise, which suited the quiet atmosphere. Just remember, it’s a lodge, not the Ritz Carlton.

We hadn’t realized a car would be necessary. Without one, getting around means paying for expensive taxi rides, and next time, as foreigners, we’d choose somewhere nearer other amenities. That said, Tupa Lodge is a lovely quiet escape by the river. The rooms were fine, the staff very friendly, and the food was good.

The service made our family stay especially enjoyable. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, and the lodge itself has a beautiful, welcoming feel. We had a wonderful family vacation there and would gladly recommend Tupa Lodge for a getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the food. Breakfast was delicious, and we were pleased with the dinner we ordered at the restaurant. The grounds are lovely for a stroll, and the two pools facing the river were a great place to unwind in the evening after the heat. Service was very nice too. Our room was modest but comfortable, with a river view and terrace. The hotel sits along the river on the border with Paraguay 🌱. The one thing I disliked was the toilet area, which smelled unpleasant and felt stuffy and humid. I’d still recommend the hotel.

The atmosphere is wonderful, and the rooms are clean and pleasant. It’s a beautiful hotel overlooking the Parana river, and I’d highly recommend it.
