Cabañas Raices Pampeanas

The cabins are nice, spacious and clean, but need maintenance. The location wasn't great for us because it's far from everything. The price is okay, though the service fell short. Nobody was there to greet us when we arrived, even though we'd told Guillermo our arrival time the day before. Other guests had to give us information before we could get in touch with him. If breakfast is included, they bring it that same morning, so you won't get it if you leave very early.

Our check-in turned into a chaotic, stressful mess, and although it was eventually resolved, we got no compensation for the bad night we'd already spent elsewhere. We booked Cabañas Raíces Pampeanas through Despegar and confirmed the reservation a week ahead, three days ahead and again on the day. Each time, the owner assured us it was fine. We'd seen other reviews mentioning changes or cancellations by Guillermo, so we were especially careful to check. But when we arrived at 12:30 AM, our cabin wasn't available. They tried to send us to Apart del Huésped, a block and a half away, which was in very poor condition and even had a closed bathroom. After insisting for quite a while, we finally got the cabin we'd booked. Other guests told us they'd had the same experience and had also been offered poor alternative accommodation. If booking this place through Despegar, check several times that your assigned cabin will actually be available at check-in. If anything seems uncertain, contact Despegar before you travel.

We had a great time in the pool with the kids, and it was always clean. The staff and other guests were friendly, too. The cabin I booked was fully equipped, with air conditioning, a grill, Wi-Fi, a great shower, TV and refrigerator. They also provided linens and towels. We stayed two days ago and were delighted with everything. If we come back to Iguazu, we'll definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it. Thanks so much!

The cabins are rustic but in good condition and comfortable, with everything we needed: two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living and dining room, a grill and a garage in each one. There's also a good-sized pool, and the location is excellent. Raices Pampenas offers a good price and location, and we'll definitely come back. I saw some complaints in the comments. If you're looking for luxury, there are plenty of options in Iguazu, but you'll have to pay double or triple.
