The hot, strong shower was probably the best we've had in South America, and the room heater worked really well. The hostel feels new and clean, with a big kitchen that has plenty of supplies. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the location suited us. My bed was a bit too firm, though, and my pillow was so thin it was almost useless. My partner's pillow was fine. Most of the guests seemed to be older people or families, so it may not suit solo travellers hoping to meet people.

Raul was amazing and made us feel at home. The patio was a 10 out of 10, and we loved having a spacious kitchen open around the clock. Our room was modern, clean, and roomy. It’s in a quiet spot, around a 15-minute walk from the city centre, with a supermarket, stadium, and bus stop nearby.

The staff were rude, and the prices they quoted didn’t match Booking.com. Be careful booking here, since you may end up paying much more than the amount you agreed to online. The way they talk to customers is appalling.

The service was awful. My bed linen had blood on it, and even after the hostel manager saw it, he wouldn’t give me a clean set. He blamed it on the plancha. The room was small, and the blankets were miserable, with feathers coming out all night. We weren’t given towels for the showers, so the room ended up wet from our legs down.

Good value, with new facilities, helpful staff, and an equipped kitchen. The lockers don’t lock, though. You just lift the mattress and the locker is wide open to thieves.
