Hotel Bariloche By Tierra Gaucha

The room was a little cramped, especially getting between the beds, and the internet wasn't working. Hopefully that's fixed by the time you visit. I still really enjoyed my stay: the staff were friendly, the location was great, and the room had a hair dryer and safe. Breakfast was nice, too.

This feels like a scam. There's a sign on the window directing you to another hotel, where they then say this hotel is unavailable and try to charge three times the price. They won't cancel your Booking.com reservation, and tell Booking.com that your card doesn't work. Looking at the comments, this seems to have been going on for months.

Everything we needed was there, and the place had a cozy, warm feel and great energy. Tierra Gaucha Hostel Boutique was a great experience for our three-night stay. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and stores, restaurants, and Nahuel Huapi Lake were just a few steps away.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, though they need a lot of cosmetic work and maintenance. The rooms are basic, with free breakfast and Wi-Fi. It's a pretty nice hostel in a perfect spot, right across from the lake and around the corner from the best chocolate shops. Parking is limited and first come, first served, otherwise you'll need to pay for street parking. It's on the first floor, with no elevator.
