Kilton Hotel

The location is close to the city center without the noise I’ve had at other hotels, and the stay was great value for the money. Breakfast had a fair bit of variety. My only suggestions would be to add scrambled eggs and switch milk suppliers. I honestly couldn’t drink the milk because it tasted bad, and my mom had the same problem. That was the only issue. Everything else was fantastic!

The room felt airy, with plenty of space and light, and the receptionists were friendly and always around. Room service fell short, though. It seemed like they’d make the bed but not actually clean. Breakfast came with the stay, but every day for the whole week it was the same fruit and croissants, with coffee that tasted reheated. The woman looking after the dining area was very kind, which was the one bright spot there.

It was easy to get around from here, with restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and the lake just two blocks away. The room was comfortable, and cleanliness and hygiene were excellent. Staff were friendly and respectful, and the breakfast buffet was standard. The lack of air conditioning was the drawback. It was early autumn but still 25 degrees Celsius in the afternoon, and the room became unbearable when we wanted to relax. Opening the windows brought in overwhelming street noise. Otherwise, things were fine.

We found the room really comfortable and didn’t hear any noise. Breakfast was a very good buffet, and the location made it easy to get everywhere. There’s parking, though you can leave your car outside if you prefer. I didn’t think the price was high, and honestly I have nothing to criticize. I’d definitely book it again.
