The wooden walls are thin, so you can hear everything happening around the chalet. They also keep playing the same kind of music in the living room. It's kind of nice at first, but after two days you wish they'd put on a different playlist. The chalet is cozy with an amazing lake view, and the staff are caring and helpful, whether you need directions there or a good car rental deal.

The chalet is a little way from the center, but that worked fine with a car, and public transport is an option too. A supermarket and gas station just minutes away made it easier to pick up food without going downtown. We paid 60,000 CLP per night for three people, which felt like good value. The best part by far was the view: Lake Nahuel Huapi was visible in its entirety from our room and the shared areas, and it made the stay worthwhile. It's mostly a wooden mountain chalet, so it has plenty of charm and warmth, but you hear creaks and footsteps in the halls and rooms. That's typical for this kind of construction. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, with fresh, nicely presented choices. Service was good too. A good affordable option if you care most about spectacular lake scenery and peace and don't mind being farther from the center.
