Max was a very gracious host. When we ran out of cash on a Sunday, he went out of his way to exchange some money for us. He also gave us plenty of tips on things to see around town and even drove us to the nearby bus station when we left. Muchas gracias Max!

I was very disappointed with the tomato sauce. I doubt it was homemade and think it came from industrial packaging. The food wasn't that good, and the service wasn't great either. They still made a point of reminding us to leave a tip before we left.

The owners made us feel at home and were wonderfully welcoming. We spent 10 days at the guesthouse in February 2026, and had a great experience. Our room, number 6, was comfortable and well equipped, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. The location worked perfectly, close to the center without being inconvenient, and there's a bus stop right on the corner. We'll definitely come back!

We were pleasantly surprised and would choose this place again. The best part was being able to use the kitchen freely to make our own meals. We could have had dinner for two for 10,000 pesos at the local greengrocer's, and since we planned to spend all day exploring the city, the accommodation was mainly a place to sleep. Breakfast was generous and varied. Max and Ale were wonderful, kind, and attentive. The location was excellent. We hadn't realized soap and towels weren't provided, though they did lend us a towel, and that the room would be cleaned after our stay. Just minor details. I highly recommend it.
