The excellent breakfast was generous and varied, and the bed was extremely comfortable. My room was nice, the staff were helpful, and most of them spoke good English, which was a real help for me. There are nearby shops, and the hotel's between town and the mountains. Getting to the center is the hard part: it's up a big hill and a 90-minute walk. With luggage, Google sends you along a steep dirt path that's impossible to manage. I was disappointed that the sauna only runs if you ask them to reserve it in advance, especially on my last day. On day one, the pool had so many chemicals I could hardly breathe for five minutes in the room. I complained, and they fixed it, but there's also a lot of black mold around the pool tiles and grout. I'm very allergic to black mold, so that was disappointing. The stone, concrete, and grout need a deep clean and proper sealing. The place has potential, but some things need work.

The rooms and shared spaces were very clean, warm, and comfortable, and the bed was comfy. We had good facilities and a nice breakfast, with friendly staff and shops nearby. The location worked well between town and the mountains. There were lovely lake views from both the room and dining room. The rooms and soft furnishings could use a refresh.

The views were amazing, and I liked the pool, which is next to the massage and spa area. It's a cozy hotel with large rooms and an okay breakfast. The rooms aren't soundproof, though. I could hear the TV and phone calls from the room next door, especially where the rooms connect with a door.

The amazing view and the hotel's open spaces make it especially appealing in summer. There are plenty of amenities, and I think it's a good place to stay. The food was just okay, and the service was okay too. The rooms have no soundproofing, and you can hear everything from other rooms, trust me. To use the amenities, you always have to cross 100 meters, which would feel freezing in winter at -3.

The facilities and staff are nice, but it costs a lot and is quite far out of town. The bus ride into Bariloche takes 20 minutes, which gets tedious if you make the trip several times a day. A cab costs $150 peso.
