We were on a group tour. The breakfast was nice. Some rooms don't have air conditioning, but they do have a powerful fan. The window pivots in the middle, letting cool air in during the evening. The room cooled enough to be comfortable at night, though street noise meant we had to shut the window.

The pool deck has a fantastic view, and the hotel is an easy walk from Main Street and its chocolate shops. It’s good value and a good hotel. Breakfast costs extra, and the parking is offsite and also not included.

The staff are friendly and the service is very good. The lobby, restaurant, and bar seem nicely maintained, and the mattresses are quite comfortable. The rest of the place is in rough shape, though: the hallways, rooms, and bathrooms badly need repairs and renovation. The hotel was built in 1970 and last renovated in 2009.

We stayed in Room 401, which had enough space for two adults and basic luggage. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size with a stand-in shower, and the NH toiletries were good quality. From the windows there was a partial lake view. There’s only a heater in the room, but a fan is available if it gets too warm. The gym needs a serious makeover. There are barely any weights and only a few cardio machines. The hotel also has an indoor pool and a dry sauna. Wi-Fi is free, works around the property, and has good speed. The medium-sized smart TV has lots of sports, news, music, movie, and entertainment channels, predominantly in Spanish only. NH Hotel Edelweiss is a modern option in this historic town, with a relaxed feel, central location, and friendly service. It’s right in the heart of Bariloche, close to main streets, shops, the lakeside, restaurants, and attractions. Great for exploring both the town and nature, though the busy area may be noisy if you’re after complete quiet. Staff looked after our needs with a smile and made us feel at home. Special shout-out to the front office person who made our stay better. I didn’t get a chance to try the food and drink, so I can’t comment on those.

Right in the heart of Bariloche, this is a great hotel. Our room was spotless, the service was amazing, and the lake view from it was incredible. Parking is available, and breakfast was very good.
