The people were the best part of our five nights at Hotel Refugio Knapp. At Resto Knapp, Licha, Renata, Maca, and Tincho were incredibly warm and friendly, with great service and good food. The rest of the hotel staff were excellent, too. The hotel sits at the base of Cerro Catedral ski mountain. Our room was nice, but the plumbing could use a little work. It was a minor issue, and the way the staff treated us mattered much more to me. I’d definitely stay here again.

I only ate at the restaurant, and the lentil stew was great apres ski food. The place had a lovely atmosphere, too. Licha was a great waiter.
