Sunset San Carlos de Bariloche

We were there for a week, and the cleaning was impeccable. The room felt luxurious and everything worked perfectly except for one small issue, the cold water tap on the bathroom sink. The food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner, in flavor as well as presentation. The staff deserve all the praise, especially the waiters and Sandro in particular. His service was exceptional, and 10 doesn’t do it justice. He also gave us great advice on places to visit and where to shop. You don’t need a five-star hotel when the staff are this warm, professional, and friendly. I hope this helps other people discover the hotel. The one thing to improve is the Wi-Fi, which is poor. I hope they can fix it.

We felt really comfortable and would gladly come back. The food was homemade and incredible, with nothing for me to complain about. The hotel is right in the commercial center, a block from Lake Nahuel Huapi and two blocks from the Civic Center. What made the stay especially nice was the staff, particularly the waiters at breakfast and dinner. Their service was impeccable.

We chose half-board, and I’m glad we did: the food was superb, all homemade, with two menu options each day. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were excellent and attentive. It’s right in the city center and easy to get to. I’d recommend it for families.

Parking was a real challenge, with a very narrow lot that felt almost dangerous to maneuver in. The service was good, and the bathrooms were perfectly adequate. Internet barely worked throughout the day. There was no air conditioning in the rooms, so I had to ask for a fan when it got hot. Breakfast was acceptable, but the bread selection was thin and the cold cuts seemed among the cheapest available.
