The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were kind and very helpful. The only drawback is the hilltop location, which means a long walk from the main streets.

The walk back from the centre is all uphill, so it takes some effort. Cars passing by also make it a little noisy. Breakfast is a bit dull, but does the job. For an inexpensive hotel, it was pretty good.

The price is shooting up. The hostel quoted 2,070 pesos per night on 14 Nov, 2,600 on 29 Nov, 2,900 on 3 Dec, and 4,300 pesos on 5 Dec. I know there’s inflation, but I don’t believe it more than doubled in two weeks. Crazy!

The location was central but quiet, and the beds were comfortable enough. Nice people and a great hostel by hostel standards.

They forgot our reservation twice. The first time, they found us a place in the dorms. The second time, they had nowhere for us, so we had to find another hostel. Not cool at all.
