The location is great, and the accommodations, room service, and cleaning were fine. I was satisfied with the service, though I felt they charged a little too much for what was offered. Breakfast felt kind of cheap and rough around the edges. I had bad luck during my stay because one of the only two lifts was being maintained. You have to open and close the elevator doors manually each time, and people sometimes leave them open on a floor, which makes things harder for everyone.

For $42 a night, it was about what you'd expect. The room smelled of cigarettes at first but aired out. The bathroom was small, the furnishings pretty dated, but the room was clean enough. Night staff were a little gruff, while the morning staff were nice. There was a lot of police outside and many people had their belongings and furniture out in the street, as if something bad had happened. I was less concerned when I saw their little children playing there too. Maybe some utilities had broken, or something.

The lobby is great, but the room and elevators are old. The mattress wasn't comfortable, and the room has a very dated look. If appearance doesn't matter to you, it's a good place at an acceptable price for the location.

The people were really nice, and the rooms were comfortable enough for the price. The location was great, and breakfast was the best part for me. I couldn't get enough of the croissants.
