Atenea Apartments & Suites

We stayed in two apartments with my two children and four grandchildren. Both were spacious, bright, and very clean, and they changed the sheets and towels several times. The apartments were beautiful, we could cook there and use the pool, and honestly, we’ll come back. Highly recommend.

The balcony was nice, the view was good, the building was spotless, and the area felt safe. Service was good too, so I’d still give it four stars. But the “double bed” was two twin mattresses tied together with the pillowcase, which was very uncomfortable. The shower was noisy and the bathroom tiny. Breakfast is served around the corner, but that place opens much too late. Also, parking right there costs extra, and it isn’t worth it.

The location is great, but the rest was awful, especially for such a high price and poor service. The towels were torn, and both beds were uncomfortable. The photos are completely misleading. The Wi-Fi had no password and was terrible. If you stay here, complain and ask to be moved to another apartment with password-protected Wi-Fi. That one actually works well.

The apartment wasn’t equipped for the number of people in our group, and they didn’t clean it when they were supposed to. It’s very expensive for what you get, and really isn’t worth it. They charged us three months early, even though payment was supposed to be made when the reservation was made. When we arrived, nobody greeted us, the elevator wasn’t working, and we had to carry our suitcases up five flights of stairs.
