Catalinas Suites

It's very clean, and the breakfast is superb. The location puts you right in the city center, so most places are fairly close, and the internet is good and doesn't need a password, even for people who aren't guests. It is quite expensive, though, and the exchange rate they use for dollars is unfavorable if you're paying in pesos. Also, ask for a room that doesn't face the street. Buses run along it, and the noise carries through the night, making it hard to sleep.

The location was nice, and the room and bed were both spacious. But the WiFi never worked, and the TV was so old that the picture wasn't very clear. It cost way too much. There are better, cheaper hotels on the same block.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room was old and worn out. The mattress springs had given way and it sagged, while the bathtub and sink were cracked. Pretty much everything needed renovating.

Breakfast was continental, with coffee, juice, bread, cereal, and fruit, and the front desk service was good. The location was good too. The WiFi was very slow and needs to be improved.
