Absolutely beautiful.

Amazing.

We chose this inn because the price was good and we only needed somewhere to sleep. The neighborhood felt safe, and I left the car outside without a problem. Having a car helped since it was quite a distance from Tandil's main restaurant area and from where we needed to work. The garage itself is small, with limited spaces. The house has a colonial look, with some old pieces preserved after the remodel. You get a personal code for the front gate and your room. Our room was simple and small, with a bathroom that had both a shower and a bathtub. The air conditioning can heat or cool, but the setting is fixed at 26 degrees Celsius to save energy, so don't break the remote, you can't adjust the temperature. There was a safe, and some rooms have wardrobes. In room 2, I couldn't hang up my clothes. It looked like someone had removed the frame of a makeshift wardrobe, leaving a cement cabinet with three pine drawers and nowhere to hang anything. A shame. Breakfast is self-service from 8:00 to 10:00 AM, with coffee, milk, toast, mini jams, cream cheese, croissants, cereal, juice, and yogurt drink. They hadn't replenished the croissants the day before, maybe someone had taken them for later. The breakfast room is bright and pleasant. The price was good, though the location didn't work well for us because of the distance from work.

We got good value for the money, and the service was very good. The place itself was lovely, with clean white towels, comfortable pillows, a great TV, and a shower with good pressure and temperature. Breakfast was simple but enough, and the croissants were very good. But room 7 was very dirty, especially the bathroom. There was hair on the tiles and mold, and the bathtub was broken with a bath mat laid over it. It clearly hadn't been cleaned. The rotten smell was so bad that I started cleaning at 2 a.m. just so we could shower. The mattress was heavily stained, and the room had a musty smell, probably from the carpet. A mattress cover or steam cleaning would help.
