We were told to leave at 00:30 at night because they had overbooked the rooms. The receptionist was very aggressive and rude, and the place felt unsafe. We had to contact booking to mediate the issue. Avoid!

San Telmo is a great part of Buenos Aires to stay in, and that's where this place is. The staff were really nice, friendly, and helpful. The building has history too. It used to be the headquarters of democrats in argentina, and Mr. Peron founded the newspaper El Leader here.

Some of my belongings and money were stolen. I know that may not be the hostel's fault, but when I told the staff, they said they knew the guys and seemed to dismiss the idea that it could have happened. Their response really surprised me.
