The elevators break down often, and although the rooms were clean, they had small cockroaches. Breakfast was only just adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was reasonable, but only makes sense if you have no other option. The facilities need more maintenance.

I arrived to find an old hotel, and a potato fell on my head as soon as I got there. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom. Breakfast was only medialuna, called croassaint in Brazil, and the juice wasn’t made from fruit. I ended up not eating breakfast there. The neighbourhood felt dangerous, with drug dealing spots nearby, so I don’t recommend it. The cleaning could be better, and Wi-Fi only worked at reception, not in the rooms.

The shower was good and the room stayed nice and warm, but the hotel is extremely old and poorly maintained. Wi-Fi only works in reception, and the towels are very old and aren’t changed every day. The neighbourhood felt dangerous to go out in at night. It had the look of a horror film.

I was surprised by how much things had changed since my visit three years ago, when it was fantastic and breakfast was spectacular. This time I was disappointed, and I deleted the photos I took because they looked so awful. Such a shame, it was a bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend it. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the bathroom was horrible, with cockroaches. The breakfast buffet was awful: coffee, hot water, juice, croissants, bread, butter, and jam.
