The receptionist was the bright spot: she speaks English and was very friendly. The room itself was basic, dark, and had old furniture. The price was odd too. They first asked me for 44k pesos for one night, but as soon as I said I’d book through the website, it dropped to 33k. The area didn’t feel very friendly, so I wouldn’t suggest long walks at night. It’s alright if you need a cheap place in a hurry.

Fine for an overnight stay. The breakfast was just okay, and the elevator was old and very slow, especially for a building with several floors. The young man who greeted us late at night, almost at dawn, was attentive and friendly. Some parts of the infrastructure need work, including the bedding. My bedspread was torn, maybe from use or washing.

The price makes this a great deal, and I’d come back. The location is convenient, with plenty of bus routes and two, or maybe one, subway lines nearby, so it’s quick to get around. The breakfast was just okay, and the TVs are a bit old-fashioned. The place has clearly been around for a while. The rooms are average and have a few small issues, but nothing that would spoil the stay. The single beds aren’t great, though they do the job. At night there were lots of drunk people fighting in the surrounding area, not right next door.

We felt welcome throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.
