Our room at Hotel & Spa Gardi was spacious and had a nice bathroom, minibar, microwave, kettle, ironing facilities, and AC that kept it comfortable. The hotel has a fresh, modern feel, and the generous breakfast had lots of choices. There's also a pool, though the area gets a bit warm and humid. The staff were friendly and helpful. The central location puts nightlife and entertainment just steps away. There's no bar in the hotel, but plenty of good places nearby, so we didn't miss having one. We had a fantastic meal at Huacho, a restaurant near the hotel. Book ahead, though, because it's very busy and doesn't take walk-ins.

We had a lovely three-night stay in this clean, spacious hotel. Breakfast was outstanding, with fresh fruit, plenty of local Argentinian food, and lots of continental options. The cute, warm pool below the breakfast nook was perfect for soothing our feet after a full day of walking.

Breakfast was okay, with plenty of options, and the pool was a decent size and open until 9 pm. Our room was clean and nice. The shower had good pressure, but took a while to warm up, and poor drainage left a puddle while showering. The location was fairly close to the centre, though we didn't feel very safe outside in the evening. We only stayed one night, but it was a great hotel.

By 2 pm, eight parties had been waiting in the lobby since 11 am for their rooms to be ready. The place smelled bad and had an unpleasant, no-customer-service feel. The photos make it look much better than it is. Read the other 1-star reviews carefully so your stay doesn't turn out like ours or those of the other people stuck waiting. It felt more like a motel, especially because the customer service was so disrespectful.

The hotel was under renovation, with construction noise right above our room from 8 am to 7 pm. The receptionist was unhelpful and rude, and didn't even bother to explain breakfast hours. The outlets were the Argentinean type, and the hotel had no adapters for guests. The neighborhood felt awful and dangerous, with a smell of urine and several homeless people on the streets. Terrible place, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
