Grand Brizo Bel Air

The staff made the hotel feel welcoming, and it has a nice balance between being large and small. At the entrance, bellhop 'Nicolas' was always ready to help with details like flower vases. The breakfast team was cordial and efficient, and server 'Geronimo' spoke great English and paid attention to all the guests. I loved that they served special Christmas bread, 'Pan Dulce', at breakfast. Great place to stay!

The rooms were tiny, with windows facing a tiny interior space. There was also a strange smell in the hallway as soon as you got out of the lift. We stayed five nights and had another four booked for after our cruise, but cancelled the later stay. We had asked reception for a room with a window facing outside, and they refused. The room felt claustrophobic, which is why we asked. Casa Calma hotel seemed much more spacious, with a jacuzzi, and at a great price. The staff at Bell air were the best of the lot.

The hotel and room were nice, and breakfast was okay. Things were going well until they forgot to arrange our ride to the airport. When we told them we'd miss our flight, they got us a taxi that could charge whatever it wanted.

We had a very nice stay, with big rooms and friendly staff. One room had a white marble look, and the other had a black marble look. Breakfast was really good. In the first room, the screen used to adjust the lights was annoying because it wouldn't switch off while we slept, so we had to cover it with paper.
