Hilton Buenos Aires

The pool deck was lovely and well looked after, and we were close to everything, often within walking distance. We ended up wanting to stay at the hotel the whole time, even though this was our first visit to the area. We spent three days there with my wife and our 10 month old, and from arrival through checkout the staff made us feel like royalty. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and polite. I travel for work, and I've never been looked after this well. Our bags were taken care of while we checked in, then we were shown to a spotless, spacious, quiet, luxurious room. Breakfast in the executive lounge each day was fantastic. We also ordered room service and ate at the lobby restaurant, where I may have had the best burger of my life. Diamond status might add something if you want to make the most of the stay, but you don't need it. I can't recommend this place more. I suspect every other hotel will be a letdown for my family and me now.

The staff made both my stays at Hilton, before and after my trip to Iguazu, feel welcoming and professional. They checked that I was having a good time throughout. The hotel's location suited me well. It took about 30 minutes on foot to reach the city centre, Casa Rosada, the theatre, and a tango show. The walk was easy, though taxis are an option too. The neighborhood is attractive and lively, with a modern feel, good for walking or running, and full of cafés and restaurants. Most excursions had no trouble picking me up at Hilton. Both rooms were good choices. Room 435 had a bathtub, while room 951 had a higher view and access to the executive lounge. They were spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. I also liked the regular hangers, which you can take out and use to dry something in the bathroom if you need to wash clothes while travelling. The gym was well equipped with new, high quality Technogym equipment, and I could do most of the exercises I do at home. The pool is on the same, 7th floor. I didn't use it, but it looked clean, nice, and quiet. The terrace view was beautiful too. Breakfast was great, although I preferred the regular buffet downstairs on level 0 to the executive lounge breakfast. The tables there were more comfortable as well. I didn't get to try the restaurant because it was closed on Monday, the day I hoped to go, though the menu looked appealing. A great hotel in Buenos Aires, and one I'd highly recommend.

We were there for two nights and were looked after so well, especially by Claudio. The beds and bedding were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and pleasant. From our room we had a beautiful skyline view and those gorgeous BA sunsets. We enjoyed the pool, plus the friendly, excellent service in the executive lounge and from the concierge. Parks, restaurants, shopping, and important historical sites are all close by. We'll be back!

The river area is lovely to walk around. This really is a luxury hotel, with five star rooms, guest service, pool, gym, and sauna. It's certainly expensive, but a good place if you want to treat yourself. Breakfast felt a bit hectic even though the room was only half full, so I preferred the executive breakfast for its calmer atmosphere and excellent service.
