I’d read some negative comments before arriving, but my stay was perfectly fine. I paid 14,000 pasos per night per person for a double room. It was clean and nice, and the location is central. The staff had a really good attitude. There’s an elevator, plus breakfast with coffee and cookies or toast. The shower is small, so water gets out onto the floor and there’s no way to wipe it up. My room also had a ceiling fan, air conditioning, and a television. I came without a reservation and paid cash.

The walls were dirty, the bed was very old, and the whole place felt expensive, dirty, and run-down. They make you pay everything in advance, as if you were a thief, and treat you like a homeless person, as though theirs were the only hotel in town. Only the cleaning lady was friendly. The night and morning staff were terrible. There’s another hotel across the street for the same price, and it’s beautiful. I don’t know how places like Europa Hotel stay in business. I’ll never return.

They let me check in early in the morning and supplied clean towels and toiletries. The bed was super comfortable, and the prices were very reasonable. I’d recommend it 100%.

My double room cost 90,000 pesos and didn’t include breakfast. The rooms are tiny and have no windows, and the advice I got about Booking.com rates was poor. I’m not going back.
