Hotel Lisboa

I lived there for almost a year and moved out in February 2025. It was the worst place to live, and I don't recommend the hotel.

The power kept cutting out, there was loud music, and it seemed like people lived there. The towels were old, and on some days we were given only small ones. We were there for five days, and the whole stay was a nightmare. Don't book with them. There were two couples in our group. When we arrived, they said they'd forgotten our reservation and could only give us two rooms with single beds. In one room the TV didn't work, the bathroom door wouldn't close, and the pillows were like rags. The night concierge left us waiting and never brought replacements. That room smelled of cigarettes. I found it clean and comfortable, with good service, and very good for a two-star hotel. There are different rates, and I picked a room with air conditioning. They could improve two things: accept debit cards, since otherwise you have to go look for an ATM and sometimes they don't have cash, and offer breakfast, like other two-star hotels do.

The price is far too high for what you get. The location is fine during the day, but the area feels very unpleasant at night. The hotel is old and neglected, cleanliness is lacking, and there were no COVID-19 protocols. Our room reeked of cigarettes, the elevator was out of order, and the Wi-Fi didn't work either.
