Hotel Omega

The room smelled unbearable, and the floor was filthy, with someone else's hair and dead cockroaches on it. The walls were dirty and visibly covered in mold and fungus, while the shower area and doors were black with mildew. The toilet wouldn't flush because the mechanism was broken. The bed linen was dirty, the old mattress was stained and unhygienic, and the pillows were visibly soiled. There was no elevator, so guests had to carry their luggage up a large staircase with several levels. Reception refused to change the room or bedding, saying, “We don’t have anything.” I booked by mistake for one night and stayed only because the city was fully booked and there was nowhere else available. They also repeatedly refused to give me a fiscal receipt, saying their printer was broken. I got it the next morning at checkout and have already reported this to the tax authorities. I've filed formal complaints about the severe sanitary conditions with the city's Tourist Police and Consumer Protection Agency. These conditions are a serious health hazard. This establishment should be shut down and its owners held legally accountable. I consider it a scam.
