ibis Styles Buenos Aires Florida

The rooms are clean but pretty basic, and there’s no real soundproofing. Street noise came through clearly even on level 10, and we could hear the young family and children across the hall with both doors shut. Our shower design let water escape through a gap and soak the bath mat, and the door was clunky and loud. On the plus side, the staff were friendly, breakfast was simple but enjoyable, and the central location puts attractions, bars, restaurants, cafes, and public transport within easy reach. It felt more like an Ibis Budget than an Ibis Styles.

For the price, the small rooms are fine, and the location is decent. Breakfast was okay with a few good choices. The shower kept flooding, though, and one lift was out of order during my stay, so getting to my room or breakfast meant long waits.

The price was good and the location was extremely convenient. My room was small and not thought through very well, with a little window and the air conditioning blowing straight onto the bed.

We skipped breakfast because $30/person seemed outrageous to me. The rooms are quite small, though that’s what I expected in a big city, and there’s free coffee in the lobby. The real advantage is being close to the subte, right by line D, which gets you to many places without changing lines. Florida is nearby too, with lots of tourist shops. I didn’t care for the casa de Camino close by, where so many people call out “Cambio Cambio” in the street. The Blue rate isn’t much different anymore. Ibis didn’t disappoint, and the location was great.
