I wasn't comfortable taking the risk of renting here. The booking details are confusing, poorly written, and misleading: they show one price on Despegar and then expect a different amount. Their procedures also seem dubious. Too many red flags for me.

It was a disaster. We arrived with my family at 8:30 pm to find the house occupied, and there was nobody to speak to. Be careful with this place. We ended up sitting in a bar with our suitcases while searching for nearby hotels, but there was nothing available; everything was booked by 11 am. Luckily, we found a room at the Hotel Presidente and left. The whole experience was terrible, especially since the “wake-up call” service was included, and that's what I had booked.
