The location was top tier, and I’d stay here again, keeping in mind the thin doors and the noise from neighbours and the street. During our stay, construction (?) nearby made loud noises in the middle of the morning on several days and interrupted our sleep. Later, a very loud group of young men, I’d assume, checked into the room across from ours. Their voices from inside and conversations in the hall made me very aware of how thin the doors are. The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. Whenever the tidy-needed sign was on our door, the room was serviced by the time we got back, with fresh towels, a made bed, and some vague tidying. Breakfast was fantastic, and it was nice that they kept serving it until 11. For me, a 5 star stay would also need better shower and bath products, with refills when they ran out. The tiny sample body lotion may have dried my skin more than it hydrated it. Water constantly leaked through the shower glass seams and onto the floor, and both the shower and sink drained so slowly that used water pooled around my ankles while I washed.

The staff were nice, but that didn’t make up for how noisy the room was. I couldn’t sleep properly even with earplugs. Breakfast wasn’t the best either, and any eggs other than scrambled came with an extra charge.

There are plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby, and the location is great. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I did hear some loud street noise at times, though I’m not sure there’s much that can be done about it. For the price, it’s an excellent choice.

The location is great, and the breakfast was very good. Staff were warm and helpful, too. Great value for the price, highly recommended!
