The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was basic but good. The rest of the stay was rough: I spent three nights there, and on two of them the hostel held a party in the common room that made sleeping impossible. The building felt old and cold in winter, though I imagine it might be the opposite in summer. The bathrooms weren't always clean.

A nice place for backpackers, with a bar, shared kitchen, and the usual hostel-style beds and toilets. Breakfast was nice, and it wasn't noisy. They even provide free earplugs if you need them. The staff were very nice and helped as much as they could. Just don't expect a boutique hostel.

For the price, it was a worthwhile stay, but the services should be described more accurately. The location makes it easy to get around the city, even if it isn't especially central. Staff were helpful, and most spoke more than two languages. The rooms felt cramped for the number of beds, and the lockers were small and too rustic to feel secure. The men's bathroom was the low point. It was usually dirty and wet, and didn't feel comfortable or private. The women's bathroom was tidier, though its shower curtains need replacing.

The location was good, but this was probably the worst hostel I've stayed in. The kitchen was disgusting, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom was filthy. The exhaust fans looked like they hadn't been cleaned in two decades, and the shower stalls were incredibly small. The floors were loud to walk on at night, while parties were even louder and sometimes went on until early morning.

It's a decent price in a good location, and I wouldn't tell people to avoid it, but it's neither amazing nor terrible. I liked the rock theme, and the facilities were decent enough, though the hostel felt crowded for what it had. Breakfast was nothing special, but at least they serve it. One thing drove me mad: the staff's music seemed to play 24 hours a day. If I have to hear it constantly, could it at least be something other than Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine on repeat?
