At the start of a trip, sorting out somewhere to stay, transport, and tours can be stressful, but that should give way to enjoying yourself if you choose well. I got the accommodation choice wrong. They ask for everything needed to check in, then don’t reply on time. They also require a security deposit and return it whenever they feel like it, often more than 72 business hours after checkout. I’ve never had this many headaches after a trip. My reviews are there to see, and I try to be objective. Don’t trust this place with your leisure or business trip.

The apartment was well equipped, and the location was great. It had a very nice atmosphere.

The building is an old tenement that’s been beautifully restored, with large, fully equipped two room suites. I found it a good option for a few days, though there’s plenty that could be better. There’s a TV in the kitchenette but no cable, and no radio in the room to cover the noise. The wooden floors are incredibly loud, even under normal footsteps, so something clearly went wrong with the restoration. They also ask for a 15,000 peso deposit on arrival. The concierge service is awful, they’re reluctant to give a receipt, and even showing the room before payment seems to bother them. Reception is only open a few hours daily, leaving nobody in charge the rest of the time and creating chaos and noise. I could barely use the elevator either. Its doors malfunction and slide off their tracks instead of closing properly. I tried it about 10 times during my stay, and it worked only twice.

The only positives were the recent renovations and the air conditioning. The noise between apartments was awful, since you could hear even the smallest thing. At first our stay seemed fine, until the water caused problems. It came back that night, then was cut off again two days later. We went another three days without a drop. We asked repeatedly and got the same answer each time, that it would be back on that night. A terrible stay.
