NH Buenos Aires Latino

Buenos Aires is easy to explore from here, since the hotel is right in the center. The neighborhood felt safe and had good shops nearby. The room was fine for sleeping and freshening up, while we spent the rest of our time out.

We’re very upset about how the breakfast charge was handled. We asked the woman at check-in five times because the quoted price sounded unusually low, and each time she confirmed it was $14 USD per person for all three days. At checkout, though, we were charged $14 per person per day, making the total three times what we expected. We raised it right away, but the hotel wouldn’t fix the bill or honor the price they had repeatedly confirmed. This felt deceptive and showed little regard for guests. It’s unacceptable.

We stayed for 10 nights, and the central location was handy, with the subway literally around the corner. Our room overlooked the Obelisk, which was quite spectacular, with plenty to look at. The room could use some updating and care, but it was still a good place to stay. Breakfast had a nice range and ran late, until 10:30 on weekdays, so sleeping in wasn't an issue. The breakfast staff were all welcoming, friendly, and professional. It was especially lovely meeting sweet Barbera and having our little morning chats with her.

There wasn’t anything special about the room. The outlets are local, so you need a special adapter, and the one they provided didn’t work properly either. The water in the room seemed like it had already been used.
