The suite made it much easier to relax, and the twice-daily service kept it clean and well supplied with towels. It was comfortable, with great air conditioning during those hot 95-degree days and a shower with strong water pressure. The old-world feel, central location, and attentive, friendly staff made the week special. You can explore the city easily in 10-15 minutes, which helps since walking can be challenging. The evening snacks and drinks in the lobby were nicely delivered, though I’d like to see food options such as burgers, pasta, or pizza. Breakfast was great, thanks Paula and Michaela. Alan and Rosalina made check-in smooth, and Maria, the guest relations manager, made my visit feel special. We felt wonderful sharing our daily stories with everyone. I’d come back.

We came back to our room and found a bottle of champagne chilling for us after the staff learned it was our anniversary. That was such a classy surprise. Everyone we spoke with was attentive, wonderful, and spoke excellent English. On arrival, the lobby had complimentary gourmet dessert and hot chocolate. Our room was very large and elegantly decorated, with a big bathroom, walk-in shower, and a great view. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay.

There were little food and drink experiences throughout the stay, including an informative maté tasting, daily “epicurean moments,” and lovely concierge lounge service. The hotel feels special, right in the heart of BA, and the service was wonderful from everyone. Staff were gracious and keen to help.

We’d choose this hotel again for a future trip. Regent Seven Seas arranged our airport pickup and transfer, and everything after that was taken care of seamlessly. It was a perfect pre-cruise stay, with friendly, professional service, excellent accommodations, and a nice breakfast. The lobby is large and has plenty of seating.
