Regis Orho Hotel

I’ve stayed here three times and was very happy each time. They’re welcoming.

It’s right in the heart of the city, and I enjoyed my stay. The staff were kind, the place was clean, and the rooms were warm enough. The price was affordable. Breakfast was served at a nearby cafe, with a typical Argentine spread, good coffee, and a croissant.

This hotel is right in the city centre and suited me perfectly for one night before flying home. I had no problems, despite the negative reviews I’d read. It was excellent value for money in a country and city that aren’t cheap.

The location was okay, but there must be much better places to stay. We arrived at dawn, tired after a delayed flight, and the reception told us they accepted only Argentine debit cards. That made no sense, and there was no warning about it anywhere. The noise from next door was so bad it felt like people were walking around inside our room. The shower was lousy and slimy, and we had to keep reconfiguring the room key to get in. The elevator only served the first floor and could take just three people, so we had to wait even though our room was on the fourth. Only one staff member was friendly; the others showed no courtesy. It was a nightmare, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.
