Vain Boutique Hotel San Telmo

The exterior and lobby look great, and the location is perfect. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. At half the price, I probably wouldn't complain, but for what this hotel costs, it isn't worth it. The rooms are another story. Our sheets weren't clean, the finishes weren't nice, and cleaners woke us a few times before 08:30. There is absolutely no soundproofing. I could hear my wife talking on the phone in our room down the hall while I stood by the elevator. In bed, we could hear people in nearby rooms using the bathroom or sneezing. It's awful. I definitely won't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it.

We loved the rooms: cool decor, a comfortable bed, a great shower and air conditioning that worked well. Breakfast was another big plus, tasty and with lots of choice. The location felt safe, with good restaurants and shops nearby and tourist sights only a short taxi ride away. All the staff were amazing, especially Nicolas at reception. He was friendly, kind and very helpful. Well done, Vain team. I highly recommend Vain Boutique for a visit to BA.

Friendly, professional staff, a great location and a very comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast buffet had nice options, and it was great value for the price. My one complaint was the cement floor in the room, which took away from the comfort and elegance. Carpet would improve it.

We stayed two nights with my daughter before heading south for a ski trip, and in hindsight I wish we'd added another day or two at the Vain. The location in Palermo Soho was ideal, and the accommodations were clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Everyone was pleasant and helpful, from reception and the breakfast bar to the maid service. A fantastic hotel all around.
