The location made it easy to walk to all the major sights, and I had a great stay. I speak only English, but Mariel's granddaughter spoke perfect English and communicated with me easily. Mariel spoke enough for us to have good conversations, too, and she was very kind. She offered plenty for breakfast. I enjoyed my two nights there and would gladly stay again when I'm back in Buenos Aires. I had originally thought I was staying one night, and it was perfect for what I needed.

Mariel makes this feel like my home in Buenos Aires. She's attentive and gives guests a warm welcome, with helpful guidance on sights, places to eat, things to do, and how to get around. The location is very good, too. She knows a lot about all sorts of subjects and is easy to talk to. Staying at Mariel's is a Buenos Aires experience I'd recommend having.

If you're comfortable sharing rooms and keeping an eye on your belongings, the place might suit you. You may also need to watch the bathroom's cleanliness and put up with roommates giving you dirty looks for getting up early or making ordinary day-to-day noise.

Mariel and Cata were so attentive and kind, the best part of my stay. The place has all the amenities and the service was excellent. Thanks so much for everything! 👏💝
