Plaza de Mayo is just two minutes away, which made this a great base for exploring the city on my own. I stayed for 12 days. The food could use more variety, but otherwise I have no complaints. The people working here were especially kind. The café worker remembered me after about two days, and the cleaning staff did a splendid job and were friendly whenever we met in the hall. The staff were accommodating, too. I showed up at 1 am despite having said I’d arrive at 11 pm, and the receptionist helped me without fuss. The shower only got lukewarm, but in the summer heat I actually appreciated that.

Breakfast was on the small side, though tasty enough. Our room was also small and could use some renovation, but we were only passing through, so it didn’t bother us much. The staff were very friendly and gave us useful information. The location is the hotel’s strongest point, close to the main attractions. One thing to know: you need your room card to use the elevator or stairs to enter the hotel. Without it, you have to ask the staff for help.

The room had high ceilings, hardwood floors, and plenty of space, with a nice old-world feel. It could use a few more outlets. Breakfast was simple but good, and the service was good too. The location is excellent, right by attractions and the subway. I’d stay here again.

The breakfast was very basic, though the kitchen staff were lovely. Everything else made for a comfortable stay: huge rooms, a modern bathroom, and big, comfortable beds. The towels were amazing, and the toilet paper wasn’t the cheap kind, which matters to me. It was quiet in the evenings, so sleeping was easy. The staff were great and offered help whenever needed. The hotel is centrally located, so getting around was easy. I’d recommend it.
