Fine for a night, but they hadn’t changed the bed sheets.

I couldn’t rest here and left without getting my 50,000 pesos back. I asked for a refund because the damp room made me uncomfortable on arrival, especially since I have asthma. They refused, then moved me through three rooms, all with the same problems. I wouldn’t recommend this place, even for an emergency overnight stay. It felt more like a museum. The bathrooms had damp walls and smelled musty, the doors wouldn’t close properly, and when I turned on a bathroom tap, water flooded the place. The rooms were very dirty. Towels were stained and had holes, mattresses were stained and sank when you lay down, and the toilet paper was half used and damp. Bins had bags from the Día supermarket. There was no shampoo or soap. There weren’t proper coat hooks either, just a nail in the wall with two hangers. The Wi-Fi was weak even from about five meters away. When I wanted to go out and buy something, there was no receptionist. The reception staff were awful and could at least have worn a shirt or looked presentable. The air conditioner was plugged into a power strip with an oily, dirty extension cord that must once have been white. I took my things with me when I went out for groceries because I’d read that rooms had a reputation for break-ins and stolen belongings.
