Viasui Hotel

The staff were nice, and the free buffet breakfast was a good extra. It’s a budget-friendly hotel in a good location, with clean, basic rooms of a reasonable size. The room is a bit dated and could use some upgrades.

For $42 a night, it wasn’t an amazing hotel, but that’s about what I expected. The room smelled of cigarettes at first, though airing it out helped. The bathroom was small, and the furnishings were dated, but things were clean enough. The night staff were a little gruff, while the morning staff were nice. Outside there were lots of police and people with all their worldly possessions out on the street, as if something bad had happened and they’d had to bring out their furniture. I might have been more concerned, but the little kids were playing in the street too, so perhaps some utilities had broken or something.

If you don’t mind how things look, this is a good option at an acceptable price for the location. The lobby is great, but the room and elevators are old. The mattress isn’t comfortable, and the room looks very dated.

The people were really nice, and the rooms were comfortable enough for the price. Breakfast was the best part for me. I couldn’t get enough of the croissants. Great location too.
