The rooms had mold in the bathrooms and old carpets, which didn’t seem like a good choice for a hotel. Staff were horribly rude. One person mocked us while we searched for our boarding passes, then said he couldn’t help because someone else was about to take over. He sat chatting with coworkers for about half an hour while we waited for check-in. People elsewhere seemed rude to us too, but this place was the worst. We won’t come back.

A helpful concierge at the front desk was the bright spot, but breakfast was a struggle. There were no plates or cups, and it was hard to get service. The room was OK, though the old air-conditioning unit was too noisy to run at night if you’re a light sleeper. There was mold in the bathrooms, and the photos set higher expectations than the hotel met. I gave it three stars because it’s cheap and you get what you pay for, but it’s dated and could be better.

I’m here on business, and the central location works well for me. Shops, restaurants, and bars are only a couple of blocks away. The shower has strong pressure and lots of hot water, and the employees have been pleasant every time. The hotel could use an update, but I think its older look adds some charm and fits the city. For the price, it meets expectations, and I’d gladly stay at the Wilton again if work brings me back.

The location and value for money outweigh the drawbacks for me. It’s close to great shopping and restaurants, and right by the most beautiful bookstore in the Americas. The place was clean, with old furniture, though the TV was brand new. The wifi never worked, and check-in took incredibly long.

The staff were really friendly, and the location is in a safe neighborhood, not far from the bus and Subway. The bathroom is old, though the water pressure was good, and the carpet in the room was dirty and worn. I wanted to like the place, but it needs an update. They should either renovate or lower the price.
