We went as a family and had a fantastic time. The courtyard is beautiful, with the tree that gives the inn its name, and there’s a covered terrace where you can sit with mate or a book. You can heat your own water for free, too. The heated pool has spectacular views of Uritorco and Las Gemelas mountains. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and on weekends they put on cocktail parties, live music, and prize draws. I’d definitely choose this place first when I return.

The pool was a highlight: covered, a comfortable temperature, and really well done. I also loved the patio with its tree, lights, and comfy lounge chairs. You can use the shared fridge and stovetops, and it’s great value for the price. The place is cute, tidy, and well located, but what stood out most was how friendly and helpful everyone was from arrival to departure. There’s also an adorable little dog who was always there to greet me when I came back. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, though it started at 8:00 a.m. when I was there, which felt late if you want to head out early. I’d definitely return and recommend it.

We found the location really good, close to the center but quiet, and there are pleasant outdoor spots under the tree and on the terrace for relaxing. They also offer various relaxation amenities and parking. Andrés was very friendly and helped us out. Our basic room had a bed, bathroom, and a cabinet with TV and Wi-Fi. It was fine for one night, but needed cleaning and maintenance. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut and swung all the way open. The price seemed fair for the room.

The inn’s name celebrates the magnificent banana tree in the courtyard, and we loved the view of Uritorco from our room and the upstairs pool. The staff were incredibly attentive, and breakfast was delicious. There’s also Benji, the adorable star host, who we’re going to miss so much!! A beautiful, welcoming stay, highly recommended!!!
