Edificio Arena PBB - Club Carilo Playa

We felt really comfortable in the apartment and Bety was so friendly and attentive. We stayed on the third floor of the Arenas building, with an elevator and the beach just steps away. It was spotless, in great shape, and had everything we needed, including access to a heated pool, another pool at ambient temperature, and the gym. The rate seemed very reasonable for that time of year. We'd definitely come back to Club Cariló. Highly recommend it.

Bety and the staff took great care of us, thank you. The Arenas studio was tidy and super clean, just as advertised. Everything was excellent, and we'll be back.

The view from 2E was lovely, and the beachfront building itself is quite nice and well-kept, though it's about 12 or 15 years old. The condition varies a lot by apartment. I stayed here three times ten years ago, so I picked it based on those experiences. This time, though, the amenities were very limited, and it wasn't cheap at all. I regret the choice. The faucets don't work properly, the coffee maker clogs, the toaster is burnt, and the bedroom TV looks 30 years old. The bedspreads are torn, and the owner hasn't installed Wi-Fi, which is unacceptable in the 21st century. There isn't even a little decoration or a picture. Cell phone signal is very weak too. It feels like the owner only cares about the money, not about guests having a good stay. For this price and this apartment, I won't return. Check the amenities in each unit carefully, and take 2ndE off the list. Nearby, there are brand new apartments with ocean views, impeccable Wi-Fi, lovely decor, and more affordable prices.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, and always ready to help with whatever we needed. The location is the biggest plus, with direct beach access that made it easy to enjoy the sea at any time of day.
