I almost never write property reviews, but this place deserves one. The plain-looking entrance gives no hint of the charming boutique hotel behind it. Its character, atmosphere, and the whole stay went well beyond what I expected, even after a lot of traveling. Bruce, the owner, has a wealth of experience and a real knack for adventure stories. You could spend days listening to him. Marylyn at the front desk made it easy to coordinate excursions with the rest of our group, while Adrian kept everything running smoothly. The staff were attentive throughout. You might save a few dollars by shopping around, but for a warm, welcoming stay with such an impressive standard, you won’t need to look much further. I can’t imagine being disappointed.

Three days here still felt like being at home. The place is pretty, clean, comfortable, relaxed, and wonderfully peaceful, like an oasis. Everyone on staff was lovely, and the owner was around and helpful. The location is great, too. I loved it, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks for such a great stay.

The bed was stellar, just what we needed after long days cycling around the region, and our room was very comfortable. The property is beautiful and exceptionally well kept. Breakfast was a highlight, with a great choice of croissants, meats, cheeses, pastries, and eggs cooked for us each day. I’m usually not keen on meals at a large shared table, but Bruce was such engaging company that I really enjoyed it. It’s rare to find an owner and staff who are this attentive. If you’re touring the vineyards or like relaxed bike rides, this is a great place to stay. They were also kind enough to help us arrange dinner reservations ahead of time. We had a fabulous visit and hope to return soon! ⚡️

Ani and Bruce made us feel like part of the family, and the place itself felt like home. They’re wonderful people who helped guide us toward some great experiences. There’s plenty of space and the facilities are well laid out. I especially recommend the massages. I had the best time and couldn’t have asked for more. A must-stay if you’re in the area.
