Apart Hotel La Giraldilla

I went for two nights over New Year’s Eve. When I arrived and asked where the grill area was, they told me there was only one for the whole complex of 10 apartments, and it was already reserved. Honestly, that’s a joke. The pools were never cleaned. The so-called “private” parking is out front by the highway. The information on the website is nonsense too. On January 2, when I was leaving, nobody was at reception to take our key, which made me realize we’d been there all night without any security. I messaged the employee who had charged me to let her know, and all she said was, “I’m just the employee.” I really don’t recommend this place. Everything they show you is a lie.

The view is very nice, and Belén gave good service. Breakfast was good, though there were no healthy options. The rest was really bad. There’s no park, the pools are small and dirty, and the one grill for the whole complex is filthy. The children’s playground is so grimy it can’t be used. They also lied about the price: they confirmed a two-room apartment, gave me a one-room one, and charged the same. A real rip-off. Everything they advertise is a lie.

We stayed in the last week of December 2024. The place seemed quiet, though it’s a bit remote, and it might have needed more cleaning and maintenance because the season hadn’t started yet. One thing to know: although some reviews mention breakfast overlooking the lagoon, they only serve it on Saturdays and Sundays. They didn’t make that clear when they sold it to me. I don’t think I’ll go back.

The bedroom windows face the lake, with an incredible, dreamlike view. It’s a comfortable place, with a lovely terrace you can enjoy at any time. The heated pools are conveniently located, and there’s a children’s play area with its own playground. Breakfast is generous and varied.
