Amerian Executive Cordoba Hotel

Reception staff were excellent, and the rooms and facilities were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty basic, though. The shower splashes water everywhere, and there’s no tea or coffee setup in the room. I couldn’t find an iron or ironing board anywhere in the room either.

The main problem was being charged for the premiere room after switching to a smaller, quieter deluxe room. I had booked premiere, arrived, didn’t like it, and chose deluxe, but since I’d paid by card already, they refused to return the fare difference. I never agreed to that arrangement. A good hotel would handle this differently, and I’m disappointed enough that I wouldn’t come back. I don’t like hotels trying to be “smart.” Avoid the premiere rooms, which face the main street. How was I meant to know they’d be worse than deluxe? Your response was unacceptable. That isn’t the kind of service I’d expect elsewhere.

The place was clean and quiet, and its spot in the heart of 'nueva cordoba' is handy for restaurants, shopping malls, and downtown Cordoba. The rooms felt small and a little dated. Some details seemed out of place for a fancy hotel, like fake wood flooring with a chip missing. Parking was expensive, and the spaces were awkwardly small. The rest was fine.

The rooms are old and smell bad, the bathroom is tiny, and outside car noise goes on 24 hours, so a peaceful night's sleep is out of reach. The gym and pool they claim to have don't exist. Breakfast was very poor, and the staff were rude with awful customer service. Avoid!
