The price was good, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a good continental spread of coffee and pastries, and the front desk clerk offered free concierge help. The kitchenette was old, though, and the place felt a bit run down, like Cordoba itself. There was mold in the shower, its window wouldn’t close all the way, and neither of the two rooms I saw had an a/c temperature dial. The elevator barely fits one person, which is typical for the age and area.

They show one price on booking, then try to charge foreigners triple. Breakfast is listed as included, but they’ll try to charge for it. Parking is listed too, but don’t believe it. This is FRAUD, just a bunch of ways to try to make more money.

The apartments at MAGALÍ Apart Hotel, Montevideo 408, have full kitchens, so we could handle breakfast and dinner on our own. The fast Wi-Fi also made it easy to get work done, and the place was impeccably clean. It’s a convenient base for both families and business trips, with competitive rates and the comforts of home. Nueva Córdoba’s main sights and the city center are easy to reach from here. As a Level 6 Local Guide, I wholeheartedly recommend it for a stay in Córdoba Capital.

For the price, it’s hard to find a better deal. The location and service were excellent. The TV wasn’t working, and the place could use a bit more equipment and a better breakfast.
