The only bright spot was the woman who checked us in, she was nice. The Agoda photos bore little resemblance to what we found: the place looked like a dump and felt dirty and unwelcoming. We’d been told there were cooking facilities, but there weren’t any. Using the grill and inviting friends would have cost €8 per person, far too much given the price of the night. The double bed sagged so badly that we had to turn it over at 4 a.m. A bar next door played music until 7 a.m.
