Casero 248 Hotel

What stands out to me is how consistently good every stay has been. On our fourth visit, reception, restaurant, housekeeping, and maintenance were all just as professional as before. The room was spotless, and breakfast had lots of vegetables as well as delicious, healthy choices. I’ve worked at a hotel reception myself, so I’m impressed there hasn’t been a dip in quality. We travel full-time and know Córdoba well, and Caseros has become our regular stopover. The neighborhood feels safe for women traveling alone if you take normal city precautions. Drugstores, grocery stores, and Patio Olmos are all nearby. On another stay, Gradiva, Caston, Simón, and Dario were friendly and hardworking, and breakfast was ready very early. Thanks as well to Caston and Gradiva for making our transit welcoming and easy. From check-in to check-out, Nicolas, Gradiva, and the rest of the reception team were caring and professional. The housekeeping was excellent, the hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The restaurant staff were just as good. Everyone deserves recognition, raises, and bonuses. Nobody asked me to write this!

The location couldn't have worked better for us, right in the center. We stayed two nights and found the staff really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, with pastries, fruit, cereal, eggs, and more. Our room was cool and comfortable, with a good-sized bathroom, a decent bed, and useful amenities. Room service has a pretty limited menu, mostly sandwiches and burgers.

The rooms looked great, though the bathroom water had an unpleasant smell. Breakfast was simple: cheese, salami, tasty criollo bread, and scrambled eggs, or you could order an omelette. Staff were nice, both at the front desk on the night shift and during the day.

We found the neighborhood very safe, with police on every block and lots of friendly locals. The hotel is right in the city center, just a few minutes on foot from several great sights. Staff speak English very well, along with a few other languages. The rooms seem almost new, and the whole property is super clean.
