Garden Hotel

It's inexpensive, but the WiFi is slow. With this hotel, you get what you pay for.

The rooms feel brand new, and the location is great.

The breakfast was tasty, but you have to go a block away for it. They serve tea or coffee with toast, croissants, bread with lard, and a small glass of orange juice or soda. There are no seconds, so you get what comes in the bread basket. The nicest surprise is the courtyard leading to the rooms. It’s peaceful and lovely, with tables and chairs, plus a small fridge with drinks you can buy. The reception itself is simple, with antique armchairs, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. Our room had beautiful, very modern decor, and housekeeping was EXCELLENT. It always smelled wonderful after a long day. They even let you order delivery and eat in your room or out in the courtyard, which almost no other hotel allows. The hotel is small, comfortable, and charming, and I’d definitely return. A few practical things: you have to use the stairs to get to reception every time you come and go, so it’s not suitable for someone in a wheelchair, for example. There’s no bidet, though there is a shower used in the same toilet. The air conditioning gets quite loud. I slept peacefully, but it could bother some people.

The hotel facilities and service were impeccable, and I’d stay again without hesitation. The price was excellent for what you get. A few drawbacks: access is by stairs, rooms facing the pedestrian street can be noisy, and breakfast at the café around the corner ranges from mediocre to poor.
